Magnesium Solution for High Blood Pressure
An excellent book. Well documented with medical studies. The recommended magnesium chelate is also available at for a very reasonable price. Dr. Cohen explains how magnesium actually relaxes the blood vessels and lowers blood pressure. An easy read.

Well written and Informative
This small booklet has a big message: high blood pressure can be the result of magnesium deficiency, and most westerners are deficient in magnesium.
It is written by a doctor (MD) who cured his own vascular disease by supplementing with magenesium. After reviewing the scientific literature, he found a mountain of research to support his experience and wrote this booklet to get the word out to doctors and patients.
We are left wondering why--if magnesium is so effective at controlling hight blood pressure--is the mainstream medical community not recommending it to patients before offering blood pressure medication?
The booket gives recommendations on the type of magnesium to take, and the recommended supplementation amount.
Reading this book might help you escape the a prison sentence to a lifetime of medication.

Excellent overview and springboard for discussions w/your doctor
There's enough research in this small book to provide a basis for discussion w/your Dr. concerning supplementation with magnesium. I take 3 Magnesium Taurate (from Cardiovascular Research) per day for heart health and also sleep. It has definetly helped keep me asleep without my usual awakenings. (Chelated mag. is absorbed w/o diarhea) I wish the book was updated with the latest on the various types/brands of magnesium but is surely contains enough info to decide if you may benefit from supplementation.
